2007

Kristian Alexander was invited to give a live-to-air interview for the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) Radio 1.

Kristian Alexander has been invited as advisor and host of the Conductors Guild 2007 International Workshop for conductors with Faculty members Jorma Panula and Raffi Armenian.

Kristian Alexander was reelected for a third consecutive 2-year term at the Board of the Directors of the Conductors Guild.

2006

Kristian Alexander has been appointed Music Director of the International Music Academy in Toronto.

Kristian Alexander has been appointed Chair of the Conductors Guild 2007 International Conference to be held in Toronto, for a first time outside the USA. This major cultural event will feature speakers from Canada, USA, England, Denmark, Finland, Italy, and Israel and will bring together internationally acclaimed conductors, music directors, instrumentalists, musicologists, educators, composers, writers, therapists, government officials and supporters of the arts.

New York (New York), January 2006
Kristian Alexander was invited by the Conductors Guild to moderate in New York City a highly acclaimed panel with conductors from The Juilliard School, The Pierre Monteux School for Conductors, and The Eastman School of Music. 

2005

Kristian Alexander was invited to lead an international team of examiners in music for the International Baccalaureate Organization. This marks his fifth consecutive year of successful collaboration with the largest organization for international education in the world.

Boston (MA), January, 2005
Kristian Alexander was unanimously re-elected as a Director in the Board of Directors of the Conductors Guild. This is his second term in the world largest professional organization for conductors. During the next two years, Mr. Alexander will be working as a member of the Strategic Development, Nominations, and Professional Development Committees.

2004

Kristian Alexander has been appointed Music director and Principal conductor of The Vaughan Symphony Orchestra (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). 

Toronto (Ontario), October 4, 2003 
Kristian Alexander made his début at the Toronto's prestigious Roy Thomson Hall conducting the CIS string orchestra. 

2003

Toronto (Ontario), November, 2003 
Kristian Alexander is one of the six conductors who has been invited by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra to conduct and record compositions by Canadian composers. 

London (England), June, 2003 
Kristian Alexander was invited as a member of the jury for the annual International music award of the International Baccalaureate Organization (London, England).

London (England), January 10, 2003 
Kristian A. Alexander was invited to lead the Music examination team of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) for North America. With 1376 members in 114 countries, the IBO is the largest educaitonal organization in the world. 

New York (New York), January, 2003 
Kristian A. Alexander was nominated and unanimously elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Conductors Guild. He will be responsible for the creation of endowment fund, public relations, and advocacy. Mr Alexander is the only conductor, member of the Board, who currently lives in Canada.

2002

Toronto (Ontario), September, 2002 
After one year of extensive search for Music director and conductor, the Oakville Chamber Orchestra has invited Kristian Alexander to conduct the final concert of its 2002-2003 season.
